About Me
My name is Erin Simanic. I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and Lincoln. At the start of my career, my experience as an RN focused primarily on the neurological sciences and oncology. I then earned my master's degree as a family nurse practitioner, and enjoyed working with the uninsured and under insured in a setting that placed an emphasis on behavioral health. Through my work as a family NP I discovered my love for the behavioral sciences and obtained my post-master's degree in psychiatric mental health nursing. When I am not working I am spending time with my family, reading, listening to music while biking the trails of Lincoln, or traveling somewhere new.

Seeking out a new provider can be difficult. It is essential to find a provider with whom you can connect and work collaboratively to achieve your goals and improve quality of life. I embrace a holistic framework and enjoy using my knowledge as a family NP to ensure all aspects of the mind and body are considered.
